Care that meets you where you are
Rural upstate New York is beautiful, and it is also a long drive to a lot of things. Telehealth takes the drive out of it. You meet with your clinician by secure video or by phone from home, from work, from a parked car, wherever you can find a private half hour.
Dr. Colt is licensed in New York, Texas, and Minnesota. What matters is where you are physically located at the time of your visit, not where you live or what your mailing address says. If you are in one of those three states when we connect, we can meet.
What telehealth works well for
Follow up visits, medication management including psychiatric medications, counseling sessions, reviewing lab results, refills, and plenty of acute concerns all work well over video. For patients in Texas and Minnesota, telehealth is also how we provide sexual health care and hormone therapy.
Some things genuinely need hands and a room. If your concern calls for an exam, a procedure, or in person testing, we will tell you straight and help you work out the next step, whether that is coming to the office or connecting with care closer to you.
